For those of you that want to know what it will take to win today , it comes down to three words…stop…the…run. Navy runs , runs , and runs some more.If we can have any success stopping the run, we will hang in there. How do you do that? Every D line man has an assignment they must not sway from. The DE have an assignment that they can't sway from. The LB's and DB's will need to come up for run support. It is a tough system to defend. It will be fun to watch our young, fast backs running around hitting people. How do you get burned? Missed assignments, missed tackles and the rare pass that happens when all the backs are coming up for run support. Can't wait to see how we do. Go Owls !

My concern is fatigue and depth playing a part…they wear you down, get that one wrinkle they need to work, then it's off to the races.

Hopefully being much cooler will help…….

Coming from a cooler climate, it could also be a hinderance. It can wear you down if you're not use to it.

Was Maryland affected by the storm at all? I know Sandy was a "super storm" and mostly affected NY/NJ/PA/CT/DE but not sure if it had any impact on Maryland or if it would have any affect on this game

I spoke to a coworker in Maryland and they said it was not nearly as bad as other areas.

For those interested, U-Verse has the game in HD on 1643!!!
