WKU senior guard Jamal Crook led WKU to two wins last week, averaging 21.0 points and shooting 61.1 percent from the field against Austin Peay and Western Carolina. Crook scored 16 points and had nine assists against the Governors on Tuesday and followed it up with a career high 26 points on 6-of-8 shooting against the Catamounts on Saturday. Crook played 29.5 minutes per contest in the two Hilltopper wins, and he had 13 assists and just six turnovers. The Louisville, Ky., native made 14 of 15 free throws in the Western Carolina game, setting career marks in those categories as well. Crook has led WKU in scoring in each of the first three games of the 2012-13 season.
