the best win was vs. WKU the other day, they're ranked 170th in the country. Given FAU won but did WKU lose the game? shooting 30% field goals.
worst lost was vs. ULM the 363rd ranked team in the country.
FAU has played 4 top 100 teams and has lost by a total of 96 points.
After 5 years of Jarvis I don't see how this team has taken a step forward, only regressed. The university has increased its enrollment, academics, student housing, built the stadium, redone the burrow, etc….. yet the results are equal to what FAU was doing when it was in the Atlantic Sun and had 70 people at a game.
Jarvis, what is your excuse now?

Re: rpi games
when/if they beat three teams in a row and keep them to 50% then there's a leg to stand on.
the numbers back up what i'm saying.

sure, fair possibility or they had a bad game. which happens more often than not to below average teams.

I saw the game and I agree WKU may have been off a bit. That can be said for every single sporting event. That is the great thing about basketball…the best team doesn't always win. It's execution and taking care of the chances you get when you have the ball.
But it was a great win for us! Even if the other team doesn't play up to their potential, it counts as a win. Our losses where we don't play up to our potential seem to count as losses.
I thought Coach made some great points on the Coach's show last night. We turn the ball over way too much.
We shot over 50% from 2 against ULM and lost by 1 point. We comitted 20 TOs. That's 20 potential shots we didn't get to take. If you work on execution and taking care of the ball, and shoot that %, that's a ton of points left on the table.
We have had 3 games where if we simply had just a couple fewer TOs, we have 3 more W's.
But shoulda, coulda, woulda. We didn't take care of the ball and that is a direct result. That goes for whether we play a bad team or a great team.

In 5 years years we are the same program we were when he got here there is not one good reason he should keep his job.

hysterical.
have your opinions but back them up with some numbers and or facts. i don't give a sh!t if you agree with me or like me. i'm stating an opinion and backing it up with facts.
basically your two points are FAU has a great defense because they played well in one game. That makes sense.
I'm not pissed at the players, its not their fault every year 85% of the team is freshman and sophomores.
its poor coaching. And after 5 years its the same thing every year, wait till next year so the team can develop and have chemistry because they're young.
