"Student Government, at Florida Atlantic University, is very proud and excited to introduce a new event to the South Florida community, Owls for Miles!

Inspiration for this event came from the Unity Run that took place in 2004 which was headed by Coach Schnellenberger. The run consisted of excited and motivated football players that wanted to represent Florida Atlantic University’s football team across South Florida; running from the FAU Davie campus and from the FAU Jupiter campus all the way to the FAU Boca Raton campus.

Unity, Community, and Team Spirit were the pillars that built the Unity Run. Our goal in Student Government is to recapture these essential qualities and bring back to students and members of our community what it really feels like to be part of FAU.

Specific event times are listed on the itinerary below, but here’s a glimpse of what to expect at Owls for Miles: obstacle courses, music, competitions, face painting, food vendors, FAU athletes, guest speakers, etc.

Owls For Miles will take place at the Florida Atlantic University Boca Raton Campus on September 7, 2013 located at the west side of our football stadium. FAU welcomes guests to arrive on campus at 10:00 AM.
