This is true! Progress is progress! Or one step forward, two steps back.

You people don't have anything better to do? Mistakes happen. Get over yourself.Posted On: Aug 28th 2013, 12:07 PM #315834
A little sensitive, aren't we, Miss Guest User Caroline?
This isn't the first time our athletics department has sent out something ridiculous like this, trust me, so it's not like this is an isolated incident. We're trying to be a top NCAA program, aren't we? This isn't something a top NCAA program does.
Maybe the person who wrote this email should find something "better to do", along with their boss who allowed it to leave the building. The football season ticket holder base is the most important set of customers this department has, and sending emails like this shows a complete lack of respect, in my opinion.

Seaon Ticket are on the Way!
Are they serious? Does anyone look over these emails before they get sent out? Embarrassing.Posted On: Aug 28th 2013, 11:42 AM #315827
I get spelling errors happen like leaving out the s at the end of ticket but seaon is inexcusable. If a student did that on a paper they would get penalized and told to make sure they proof read their papers before turning them in
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

It gets magnified when a department is representing an institution of higher learning. You might think it's not a big deal, but I beg to differ.

These kinds of things reflect poorly on everyone involved, even the alumni.

If I send out a proposal with misspellings or type-o's it probably will effect whether or not I get the engagement…it gets magnified when a department is representing an institution of higher learning. Congrats, they look great. And nice to see three (3) new visitors to the stadium!
