Received this message below from FAU emergency alert system.

A message from FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITYFAU Alert #1, October 18, 2013, 11:35 p.m. There was shooting at the Irishman Pub on N.W. 2nd Ave, Boca Raton, near the Boca Raton Campus. Police have closed off a portion of 2nd Ave. and the 20th Street entrance to the campus. One suspect possibly still at large

The shooting occurred on 1800 block of N.W. 15th Vista and not at The Irishmen which is located on 1745 NW 2nd Avenue:

He was shot in the lot behind the Irishman and went to the bar to get help.  He was not shot at the Irishman.

I didn't catch the part where it didn't happen at the Irishman until 2:30 AM when the university decided it needed to send out another emergency report.

I've always thought West Boca was sketchier than East Boca., with maybe the sole exception being that gas station by Punjab on Federal. Place creeps me out. No idea why.
