For those wondering about the status on Tulane QB Nick Montana, looks like they will employ the "confuse the opposition by planting seed of uncertainty around multiple quarterback strategy" approach as well.

Per Head Coach Curtis Johnson:

“We’re going to play both quarterbacks. We haven’t discussed exactly what we’re doing. Both of those guys will practice their plays, and a lot of their plays are the same. We fully anticipate both of them playing. I’ve kind of got an idea, but we haven’t talked about it yet. I just want to see Nick throw one more day and we’ll make a determination on that probably after tomorrow’s practice.”

Notable quotes on the FAU run defense…

“I don’t think it makes it much easier, but it just makes us prepared. We know this defense is a quick, fast defense. They do bring some pressure. They do cause some problems for us. They’re good on the back end. They tackle well. They’re one of the better tackling defenses. Schematically, we’re doing a couple of things differently. We just have to continue to improve in the offensive line and the run game. They do a little more slanting and angling, so we have to do something to counteract that.”

Johnson and Wright's quotes are so similar it's like they're paraphrasing each other.

Going to be an interesting game.  Looking forward to it.

Excited that we're favored. Nervous that they haven't lost in CUSA play yet.
