Having drawn significantly closer towards the Bowl Eligibility mark, the Owls now find the distant past of two contests which got away from them, and a couple others to forget, in the rear view mirror. Given the last pair opponents to tackle, the future does indeed appear bright.

Returning to the friendly confines of FAU Stadium for the balance of the regular season, the Team will welcome the sight of familiar faces while also likely glancing at the calendar in their spare time. Post season plans seemed an impossibility to most heading into the year, but funny how things could manage to work out in the end.
Saturday's opponent should be the first of two speed bumps yet to be faced, with wheels in tact in to place matters under foot - literally.

The Aggies are giving up an FBS low of 312 rushing yards per game (7.1 YPC) to opponents. And after last weekend's showing against Southern Miss in which the Owls attempted only 12 passes, one can expect another healthy dose of the ground game to be in store.
Smiles should also be plentiful on Saturday, as Jaquez Johnson (10) could set a new all-time record for most rushing TD's in a season (Alfred Morris 11, 2009), and FAU takes another stride forward.

Yes but they also gave up 66 to New Mexico who has 3 wins. It appears they can score but have no defense.
