Florida Atlantic senior guard Pablo Bertone scored a career-high 31 points in the Owls' win over UCF and added 20 against Jacksonville to earn C-USA Player of the Week honors.

Bertone's outstanding senior campaign continued this week with two great performances over in-state rivals. On Tuesday, he scored a career-high 31 points in a 75-64 win over UCF. Bertone (pictured) followed that up on Saturday with a 20-point performance in the Owls' 83-63 victory against Jacksonville. For the season, Bertone is averaging a team-high 18.9 points per game. He is on pace to become the 11th 1,000-point scorer in school history. This is Bertone's first career C-USA Player of the Week honor.
