Linebacker Randell Johnson stole the show on Friday. He clocked impressive non-wind-aided times of 4.62 and 4.64 in the 40-yard dash, which turned some heads. (Yes, the wind matters in these type of things.)

Plenty of scouts were on hand with stop watches ready, including Seattle Seahawks regional scout Jim Nagy.

There was no official number given for the amount of NFL teams present, but my count there was 22 organizations in attendance along with a pair of CFL teams. The Dolphins, Saints and Chiefs appeared to have multiple individuals on campus.

Damian Fortner had the fastest 40-yard dash time with an official of 4.48. He also managed to sport some colorful tights while doing so. He pushed 225-pounds 17 times on the bench press.

Scouts hung around to see Johnson in individual workouts. Dolphins linebacker coach and ex-Jaguars coach Mark Duffner led the drills. Johnson said after the event that he has lost some weight and "leaned up" since the season ended. He's been training at Fit Speed in Weston and changed his diet. He benched 225-pounds 22 times and had a vertical jump of 38.5 inches, which would have been tied for 4th amongst linebackers at the 2014 NFL Combine.

The Panthers, Chargers, Ravens, Raiders and Bills all interviewed Johnson after the Pro Day. The primary question being, how come he didn't play much last season? Johnson said he's not sure what happened, but is looking for a chance. The New England Patriots appear to be the most interested team. They already held a private workout with Johnson last month at FAU stadium.

Quick hits:

TE Nexon Dorvilus didn't do anything to help his stock. He ran a 4.95 and 5.02 in the 40.

LB Adarius Glanton may be undersized, but he benched 225-pounds 32 times. That would have been the most out of any linebacker at the 2014 NFL Combine. The Panthers talked to him after his workout.

RB Johnathan Wallace ran a 4.77 and 4.82 official times in the 40.

Wow that is impressive.

I love dropkicks and fat guy touchdowns.

Anybody there interested in Lockley…? Really thought he'd do better at the next level.

Also, Nu"Keese Richardson was there, right? Any thoughts on him?
