Western Kentucky (0-2, 2-3) and Florida Atlantic (1-1, 2-4) will square in one of the noon slots. Senior QB Brandon Doughty and the Hilltoppers offense produces no matter where they play, while junior QB Jaquez Johnson and the Owls have fared much better (2-0) in the friendly confines of FAU Stadium this season.
Louisiana Tech (2-0, 3-3) will look to make it two straight wins at home when it welcomes UTSA (1-1, 2-4) to Ruston. Junior RB Kenneth Dixon has scored at least one touchdown in five straight games to lead the Bulldogs offense, while the Roadrunners received a strong effort through the air and on the ground from freshman QB Austin Robinson in his first appearance last week, leading UTSA to a win over FIU.
UAB (2-1, 4-2) continues to make big plays and post big offensive numbers, topping the 40-point mark in all four of its victories. The Blazers travel north to Middle Tennessee (3-1, 4-3), a team that has averaged nearly 48 points during its four wins.
No. 24 Marshall (2-0, 6-0) will put a pair of impressive streaks on the line when it visits FIU (2-0, 3-3) Saturday night. Senior QB Rakeem Cato has thrown at least one TD pass in 38 consecutive games, tying the FBS record set by Russell Wilson of NC State and Wisconsin. The Herd will also put its unblemished 6-0 season mark on the line when it faces a Panthers team that forced three more turnovers at UTSA, extending its nation-leading total of forced miscues to 24.
A pair of teams seeking their first conference win meet when Southern Miss (2-4, 0-2) visits North Texas (2-4, 0-2).

Once again, the Owls (3-4, 2-1) give fans their money's worth with a last minute score that is followed by a strong defensive stand for the win.
Jaquez Johnson made a strong case for Conference USA offensive player of the week with 420 total yards, 5TD, and a 67.6% passing percentage.
Newcomer Greg Howell looks like he could be the replacement for Alfred Morris in the power running department. The freshman tallied 118 yards in his debut.
Brandon Doughty (28-of-44, 335 yards, 3TD) was held to just 79 yards passing in the second half, as the Hilltoppers (2-4, 0-3) were outpaced 31-7 for the period.

The Roadrunners' (2-5, 1-2) took the first and final quarters of play, but catching the turnover bug (4) in between didn't help matters.
Tech linebacker Terrell Pinson spearheaded the turnover barrage for the Bulldogs, returning a shotgun snap fumble two yards for a TD and then registering back-to-back interceptions which were also converted into scores.
With the win, Tech (4-3, 3-0) maintains its lead in the West Division standings, heading into next weekend's showdown at Southern Miss.

The Blue Raiders (5-3, 4-1) scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to secure a come-from-behind Homecoming win.
The Blazers (4-3, 2-2) had won three of its last four coming into the game and pushed the Blue Raiders to the limit before they came off the deck with two huge fourth-quarter scores.
MTSU quarterback Austin Grammer was 6-of-19 passing for 141 yards and two touchdowns. The Blue Raiders, who piled up 470 yards total offense, had 229 on the ground.
Collectively, the teams saw 101 rushing attempts.

(24) Marshall 45 FIU 13
The Thundering Herd (7-0, 3-0) trailed for the first time this season with 2:00 minutes to play in the first quarter, however it didn't last long.
Rakeem Cato set an NCAA FBS record with his 39th consecutive contest throwing a touchdown on the next Marshall possession, and they never looked back from there scoring 45 unanswered points.
The Panthers (3-5, 2-2) added a touchdown with 1:50 to play, but missed the PAT thereafter for the final tally.
Marshall ran 32 less plays than FIU did, but posted solid averages both through the air (14.3 YPC), and on the ground (9.3 YPC).
