Notables

Following Saturday's disappointing loss to St. Francis and the loss of big forward Justin Raffington to injury, FAU faces a red hot Eastern Kentucky team, at 6-4, following a 72-44 drubbing on No. 18 Miami. EKU used a 22-2 second half run and 18 points from Corey Walden to pace the Colonels of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Raffington's injury leaves the Owls without any big man experience.

Marquan Botley was FAU's top scorer Saturday with 12 points. Solomon Pool had 10 points, six of them in the final minute.

FAU ended a four-game win streak with the loss in Brooklyn. The Owls (5-4) had beaten in-state rivals UCF and Stetson with great defense and, in the Stetson game, a heavy dose of newcomer and Georgia Tech transfer Solomon Poole, with 23 points

FAU apparently appreciates the home cooking, The Owls are 4-0 in The Burrow, but only 1-4 away.

FAU gives up only 2.9 three-pointers per game, second in C-USA.
