Notables
Jacksonville started the year 2-9, but has begun to turn the ship around by winning three of their last four games. Their current mark of 5-10 had not been seen for 16 seasons - something that is obviously welcomed.
After a 70-47 blow out road loss to Mississippi State, the team responded with a 75% 3PT effort to down Jacksonville State at home where they are now 5-2 on the year.
Kori Babineaux has six straight double-digit point games.
FAU at a Glance
Offense - 62.6 PPG, 43.4% FG, 36.2% 3PT
Defense - 60.1 PGA, 41.4% FGA, 23.6% 3PTA
Rebounding - 32.2 PG Team, 33.6 PG Opponents
Notables
The Owls return to the floor having enjoyed eight days away since an exciting 69-66 home win over Eastern Kentucky.
They find themselves at 6-4 for the first time since the 2010-11 season, when they won the Sun Belt and finished with a 21-11 overall mark.
The squad set season highs in assists (17), field goal percentage (54.5%), three-pointers (11), and three-point percentage (52.4%).
Conversely, perimeter defense continues to be a staple for success, as Florida Atlantic's 23.6% 3PT FG allowed is second best nationally.
Back-up point guard D'Andre Johnson did not travel with the team due to an ankle injury suffered against the Colonels. There is currently no forecasted date of return, although he is officially listed as day to day.
Tuesday's contest will be the final non-conference match-up for Florida Atlantic.

Guess Vegas is going to shy away from the Owls in this one as well…and honestly, don't blame them.
They took a bath on UCF and ECU.
For a squad that was forecast to struggle we are doing pretty well so far!
