I like the look in this pic, serious and tough and got some serious arms for a hs kid!

And those are some pretty decent athletic numbers listed there too.

Welcome to the Owls Jacob!

Watched this kids highlight tale. He is really fast to the ball & has a nose for it, both in terms of tackling & interceptions.

Wouldn't be surprised if he starts for us next year.

Some recruiting sites list him at 5'9" and others up to 5'11".

Now I agree 5'9" is kinda short and 5'11" is not "ideal" but if he is 5'11"
that is no real hindrance, especially with his athletic numbers; speed, strentgh, vertical leap, etc…

And making 1st team 8A All-State is great. Now why no other offers let alone BigBoy offers??? Grades? Other?

I don't have the answers and nobody else does either, I just hope we have uncovered a real late bloomer (THINK MACK GUYS!) AND HOPE WE GET HIM TO SIGN THE NLI AND QUALIFY ACADEMICALLY.

He looks pretty darn good to me on the tape!

It could be his size too. Some coaches  like tall LBs

He's 5-10, 220.

This is directly from him as of yesterday.

Height is more important for OLB's. If we use him as an ILB or MLB , height is less of a factor. Granted , I wish we had 6'4" 250 lb. guys, but we are FAU and at this time we look for guys that can run and hit.
