The Hilltoppers are one of three teams who are undefeated in Conference USA play thus far for 2014-15. They rank third in the league in both scoring (73.5 ppg), and field goal percentage defense (40.4%).

George Fant had 24 points and 13 rebounds against No. 25 Old Dominion, a performance which earned him player of the week honors. Prior to the game Western Kentucky had lost to every Top 25 opponent over the last five seasons with a record of 0-8.

WKU is coming off an extended six game home stand, and have won five straight. However, they are just 1-3 away from Diddle Arena.

Center Justin Raffington and point guard D'Andre Johnson did not practice Wednesday. Johnson is still listed as day-to-day, and Raffington will not play.

Solomon Poole is leading the Owls in scoring at 14.9 points per outing in the seven games since he was cleared to play.
