UTEP is currently on a two game winning streak with their last win coming against Middle Tennessee State 83-70. Vince Hunter led the Miners with 17 points.

Hunter will have FAU's undivided attention entering this week's matchup. The sophomore forward is averaging nearly a double-double with 15.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game this season.

The Miners are 3-4 on the road this year but three of their wins have come in conference play.

After going winless on a three game road trip, FAU will continue their five games in nine day stretch against UTEP at The Burrow.

Last time out the Owls lost to FIU 64-56. Justin Massey led the team with 16 points while Justin Raffington added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

After missing the last three games Jackson Trapp is expected to play against UTEP. This year Trapp is averaging 11 points and three rebounds per game.

FAU will try to snap a three game losing streak.

Tonight's starters will be Botley, Raffington, Trapp, Poole and Penn. With Jackson Trapp back in the lineup it will be interesting to see how coach will manage Massey's minutes. Massey played really well in the second half against FIU.
