Notables

North Texas is currently on a two-game winning streak after sweeping their home slate against UAB and MTSU. The total margin of victory in both games was a total of four points.

Against MTSU the Mean Green's DeAndre Harris' hit the game winning free-throw to turn a 21-point second-half deficit into a victory. Harris finished the game with nine points. Jordan Williams led the team with 16 points.

Last time they were on the road they lost to Marshall 80-73. North Texas has only won one road game this season, defeating Rice 66-63.

Notables

Its been a month since FAU has won a game as they are currently on a seven-game losing streak. During the losing streak the Owls are allowing 68.8 points per game while scoring 56.7 per game.

Last time on the hardwood the Owls lost to fellow cellar dweller Souther Mississippi 62-54. FAU trailed for the majority of the second half but an 11-2 brought the Owls within a possession of tying the game before the closing minutes. The Eagles then responded with a 6-0 run to put the game out of reach. Botley led the team with 18 points.

Currently last in Conference USA, every game is a must win from here on out for the Owls, who will also need significant help to qualify to play in the 2015 Conference USA Tournament.

Both teams look great on offense to start the game. Owls look really crisp on offense with both Trapp and Botley able to beat their man off the dribble for layups. UNT ahead 11-9 with 15:32 to go. Both teams are shooting over 80% to start the game.

After starting the game in man. UNT comes out in a 2-3 zone and forces a Poole three pointer with the shot clock winding down.

Since UNT has switched to their 2-3 and 3-2 zone FAU has gone 1-5 from the field with one turnover. The Owls have been able to get three offensive rebounds against the zone however.

After an easy layup by UNT Curry calls a 30 second TO. FAU 14 UNT 17 W/10:28 to go in 1st half. Owls have made 2 of their last 8.

Last few games would qualify as a slump. But he's shooting poorly the whole year.
