3 out of the first 4 are very winnable (we crushed Tulsa this year and they have a new coaching staff…same with Buffalo…and Charlotte is new program in transition)…and then we get 2 home games out of the BYE.  It sets up very nicely…now we just have to take advantage it!

1 bye week?! am I missing something. I checked the website and that goes for all the C-USA teams…
Is that a new change?

It looks like all college football teams have only 1 bye week this year.

We'll be Charlotte's first home CUSA home game. Expect one of their biggest crowds for that one.

The second bye week is after Old Dominion. Per the CUSA website, all CUSA teams have that week off in preparation for the CUSA championship game the following week.

Do you think it has to do with better CFP scheduling? I just find it odd…

i think they are making one less bye to shorten the season and they to move the national championship closer to the start of the new year and not 12 days after

I would much rather play this type of game instead of the Alabama's and Auburn's. Ball U is the "FAU" of Indiana with their big 3 being Notre Dame, Purdue, and Indiana.  I grew up about 20 miles from BSU.  Famous alum is David Letterman.  They have had a football program for about 90 years (no–I did not attend the first game). The money and namesake for the program came from the Ball family–who produced the Ball Jar.  I believe you can still find a Ball Jar in your local Publix today.  That's the Ball State lesson for the day…

Not many people up in that area have any idea what FAU is.  They will find out in 2016! Go Owls.
