UAB at a Glance

Offense - 69.6 PPG, 42.9% FG, 32.6% 3PT

Defense - 68.8 PGA, 42.0% FGA, 32.7% 3PTA

Rebounding - 36.5 PG Team, 35.7 PG Opponents

Notables

The UAB Blazers enter the game 12-4 in conference play and are still in play for the regular season Conference USA Championship. If the Blazers sweep the Sunshine State road trip against FAU and FIU, and Souther Mississippi pulls off a stunner and ruins Louisiana Tech's senior night with a win, UAB and Louisiana Tech will finish as co-champions of Conference USA.

Freshman forward William Lee was dubbed player of the week after nearly getting a triple double in a 100-95 triple overtime win against Middle Tennessee State. Lee registered 16 points, 11 rebounds, and eight blocks against MTSU. This is the second C-USA Freshman of the Week honor for Lee.

The Blazers played one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country as they played Wisconsin, Florida, UCLA, North Carolina, and LSU during non conference play. Away from the friendly confines of Bartow Arena, the Blazers are 3-6 for the year.

FAU at a Glance

Offense - 62.9 PPG, 41.6% FG, 34.5% 3PT

Rebounding - 31.6 PG Team, 35.3 PG Opponents

Notables

FAU will be playing their final games of the season during this weekend's home slate starting with UAB. The Owls will try to snap an 11 game losing streak after last weekend's narrow lost to WKU and double-digit loss to Marshall.

Marquan Botley's 13.8 points per game is 14th in Conference USA. Jackson Trapp is second in Conference USA in 3-Point Field Goal Percentage, shooting a 41.6% clip from long range.

Center Justin Raffington is listed as a game time decision for the Owls.

No one seems to know. Even players who typically don't play like Grant aren't even dressed.
