You are the king of posting stories that have NOTHING to do with FAU.  Go buy Vanity Fair.

This is the "Open Sports Forum".

Just to reiterate the forum protocol, it is "Non FAU or Conference Sports News & Discussion".

I have to say, this is kind of embarrassing for America. Noah Galloway lost a lot in order to defend Jenner's right to do this to himself. Sad to see America miss that crucial point.

Also, I thought I was probably the only one who read news from Breitbart. Lol.

ESPN wants the viewership numbers and Jenner gets you more than Galloway. Same reason they talk about the SEC and Ohio State constantly.

If there was no Caitlyn right now, he'd win it because it's still a good story about a very deserving person.

But Jenner is trending right now.

Quick note, this story is false.

With that being said, there are more deserving people, but Doc has it right, it's a popularity contest, can you imagine how many more viewers ESPN will get if this is Jenner's first public appearance

Many people were considered.

Someone came in 2nd in the mind of the decision maker.

That would make them a runner up, whether it is officially recognized or not.

No, Caitlyn Jenner was not picked ahead of Noah Galloway for the ESPY award for courage - The Washington Post
