it is the AD's prerogative not to answer questions, nor is it the prerogative of the athletic department to answer any questions. That being said, he was behind the 8 ball when it came out about the restaurant being open. Rick broke it first.Posted On: Jul 3rd 2015, 10:40 PM #346341
This. My point was the other site never gives credit where credit is due and it seems to have alienated a lot of sources, both within the university and out of the university because of what seems like bias reporting and "piggybacking" off of this site. Almost every relevant story on FAU athletics I see in the Nest before I see on that site without credit being given. That is not fair and honest reporting. It's just a guy who reads this site and copy and pastes it onto his.
I also do not understand the constant bashing of our AD on that site. Although FAU is a public university, matters of athletics/ticket sales are not considered compelling enough reasons to force the university to provide said information at the request of one disgruntled, bias reporter. That is pathetic.

The other site is now reporting about the restaurant without crediting this site. Shocking.Posted On: Jul 3rd 2015, 5:35 PM #346334
The other site has also been ripping the Athletic Department pretty hard the past few days for what seems to be a personal vendetta. How pathetic.Posted On: Jul 3rd 2015, 7:43 PM #346335
I saw some of that…Really weird they seem to be driving the fire Chun bandwagon

Exactly. That was the point I was trying to make. AD Chun can answer questions or not answer questions. The same thing with the staff. They just reported about the numbers being higher than previous since the stadium opened that is all. The other site want to compare numbers, well the athletic department doesnt have to give the numbers if they dont want to. And you are right lawowl, he seems to get alot of information from us then break it himself without credit. At least when we do it, we try to give the credit where the credit is due.

You must work for them. If Schnelly's plans were very well known they would have been reported by now… Chuck took as much time as you'd expect if someone looked at a story on this website, contacted coach for more details and posted their story.Local Owl said
Schnelly's plans were very well known. I think Chuck just took his time to go into a little more detail. He gave more info. Not only do I not find Owl Access pathetic, until they report it, I consider it rumor. As far as the questions for Chun, if the PBP os SS had run the same story , it would have been fine. Chun set himself up by not answering. jmho
