Pelini's gamble paid off.  I have never heard of Crevon ever being in trouble since he came on campus, I am happy that a young man was given a second chance and he didn't waste it.

As for Pelini, I would have liked it better if he said I think you have good character and you made a youthful mistake that you paid dearly for and now here is your second chance.  Instead he says you are great football player and all is forgiven.  There is too much of that in youth and high school athletics.  There are too few mentors for the elite high school athletes it seems.
