C-USA Football: Games for Week of 09-26-15

Two conference match-ups highlight a full Saturday of games in Conference USA, with all 13 teams in action. Cross-division opponents FIU and Louisiana Tech meet for just the second time, while Charlotte hosts its first C-USA game when East Division foe Florida Atlantic comes to Jerry Richardson Field.

The 14th home game in Charlotte football history will mark the first Conference USA game on the 49ers campus.  Both teams have shown an ability to move the ball, but have been hurt a number of times by turnovers.  Niners junior LB Nick Cook registered 13 tackles, including a school-record 12 solo stops last week as he and the Charlotte defense prepare for an Owls team that is averaging 481 yards of total offense per game.

Below is the entire slate, which will once again offer no mid-week action.

I'm using a different point system from here on out. This new system will award those who get in first place, or at least do better each week than their rivals. After calculating points from each week, I'll put you guys in standings. First place will always get 100 points. Second place will get 80, third will get 70, fourth 60, and so on. If there's a tie for first, the winner of the tiebreaker will get the 100 points, while the person who's in first place but lost the tiebreaker will get 90 points. Second place will then get 70, third will get 60, fourth 50, and so on. This allows for those who have just one really strong week to stay in contention. If you have any questions, y'all have my number.

Jack 250 (29 total points)

Leead 220 (27)

Kordas 220 (27)

Madison 170 (25)

Brandon 160 (25)

I have a feeling MTSU will pull this one off. Illinois is a moderate to weak Big 10 team.

FAU - THE REAL SLEEPING GIANT
