I love the line about Cultural appropriation: you're right, Clemson left out all of the other great traditions from Mexico like drug muling and a culture of misogyny… try being a woman in business in Mexico and let me know how that works out.

We tend to bend for anyone in this country…2%, 3.5%…anything less than 10% - done deal.

The rest of the folks MAJORITY opinion's and value system doesn't matter.

Anyway…

The first hashtag got a ton of action…like six total posts, counting today.

Included was this gem, which got rocked by the twitter community:

I actually agree with her.

If you did an african american culture day in the food hall and had everybody wear sagging jeans, fake afros and talking jive it would be kind of ridiculous.  Which is basically what happened here.

Not sure what "The rest of the folks MAJORITY opinion's and value system doesn't matter" means per sey.  Just because the number of hispanic students are a minority doesn't give the majority the right to mock them…

It means we cater to the minority viewpoint in this country consistently.

On a side note:

Guess this INCREDIBLE Mexican Restaurant in Delray will have to get rid of their racial, and offensive sign.

Especially since the ONLY people who work there are Mexican.

They must not know they are ridiculing, and making a mockery of themselves.

35 years of experience has taught me to leave stuff like this alone on a message board.  So I will.
