On a side note:

Turman landed here because we hired his former HS Coach (Coach Gibbons) and then UT had a coaching change.

I guarantee he did not leave voluntarily. Schools do not release that type of statement when they leave voluntarily.  There are only 2 reasons why he may have been dismissed and we all know what those 2 scenarios are about. I wish him the best.  He has great potential if he decides he wants to commit to it.

Man, brutal that he is no longer with program.  He had a bright junior/senior years coming up.  I think he has NBA physical talent.  Heck of an opportunity to throw away assuming he was dismissed.

Ha, thanks.  There are a lot of reasons to speculate why this kid was dismissed/transferring…a new thread doesn't need to be started for every opinion (coaching staff, playing style, campus living, resources, etc).
