#FAU Men's 🏀: CONGRATS to 6-4 SG Gerdarius Troutman
— FAU Owl's Nest (@TheOwlsNest_ITB) April 13, 2016
(@GodsHooper_14) & 6-9 PF William Pfister (@Pfister_William) on committing to the Owls!
The FAU Men's Basketball Team will have two new faces in the fall. Gerdarius Troutman and William Pfister are both junior college transfers who will have two seasons of eligibility remaining when they arrive on campus.
Troutman is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard originally from Butler, Ga., who averaged 13.5 points and shot 53 percent from three-point range last season at Gordon State.
Pfister spent the last two seasons at Northwest Florida State College, where he helped the Raiders to a NJCAA national title as a freshman and to the elite eight as a sophomore.
“We are very excited to add two more veteran players to our 2016 class. Gerdarius was second in the country from three-point range. He adds excellent shooting and great size on the perimeter,” said Head Coach Michael Curry.
“William will bring us much needed size and depth on the interior, which will allow us to have more defensive versatility and allow us to play at a faster pace.”

Like I said, let 'em play Coach, let THEIR talents take center stage, not your "system" or whatever we have called it the past 2 years!
