An exciting Thursday night cross-divisional matchup highlights the six-game week of action in week six in Conference USA.
WKU will take its 13-game winning streak against C-USA opponents (one shy of the league record) into Ruston to face Louisiana Tech. The home team has won each of the last two seasons in this matchup.
Saturday’s action begins when Southern Miss looks to claim a victory over a West Division foe for the third straight week when it visits UTSA.
Charlotte will play its first conference road game when the 49ers go to Florida Atlantic. Both teams are seeking their first 2016 league win and the Owls are hopeful to put an end to their four-game losing streak after starting the year off with a 38-30 win over Southern Illinois.
Marshall becomes the final school to begin league action when the Thundering Herd makes its first visit to North Texas.
FIU will look to make it two straight victories this season and two straight wins over UTEP when the Panthers make their second-ever trip to El Paso.
In non-conference play, Old Dominion aims for a third straight victory when it hosts Massachusetts.

They both work. WKU IS BEATABLE if we improve (as is Marshall). No D's at all in this league this year.
Never give up, never surrender Owls. Show is you CAN play some Sunday Football THIS Sunday. Go Owls!

The Minutemen beat FIU 21-13 earlier in the season on September 17th.
The Monarchs had 522 total yards on offense in a very balanced attack.
November 19th's meeting against ODU could be a crucial match-up for the Owls.
