I don't know much about Kiffin. A friend of mine said he's full of himself but he'll get FAU the wins it so desperately wants *shrug*Posted On: Dec 9th 2016, 8:06 PM #363813
Super arrogant, rumored to have slept with Saban's daughter, came into the SEC and made enemies everywhere. He's hollywood as hell, but an incredible football mind. Coached the Raiders (fired), Coached Tennessee (bolted after 1 year to USC), USC (fired on the bus to the airport after a blowout loss). Great coordinator under Pete Carroll while USC was good, and later Nick Saban.
I think he's rehabbed his image under Saban, and been humbled enough that he'll be a solid head coach.

The fans are tired of his offense scoring a bunch of points and almost never losing games?Posted On: Dec 9th 2016, 8:23 PM #363819
Lately Kiff has been running bootlegs to the right way too much, which keeps leading to quick 3 and outs. Meanwhile we have 3 running backs that could be first rounders that he uses as blockers. If you watch Bama, they always start slow, then run the ball in the second half to win the game.

Bama fans like to run the ball. Glenn Coffee to Mark Ingraham to Eddie Lacey to Derrick Henry. Plus the O-line is perennially one of the best in the country. Running the ball down your throat is how we win.
