No chance Kiff is a serious candidate at LSU.

I deleted my comment when I realized Doc was referring to him being the OC at LSU which has been discussed in the media.

That might be more realistic but I think he wants another crack as a HC.

Not necessarily. It will probably come down to us and WKU (looks like he is talking to them to).

Nick saban will give us money to keep him from LSU!

WKU has a history of winning recently, no doubt, but if we're going upside we beat WKU 10 out of 10 in every category OTHER than record.

No way Joey Fresh takes Layla to Bowling Green…she was built for Boca!!

And here he can build, at WKU, they are already pretty good - more downside possible. They are also talking to Petrino from Idaho. Ya know, Bobby's brother, so he has a connection to them already and plays THEIR style already too!

Other than actual football wins and maybe recruiting, I think we beat WKU in just about everything. And Kiff needs to prove himself as a HC - other programs keep passing over him, probably worried he'll bolt for the next big job. Valid fears that we should be concerned about, but if we're saying we're willing to pay more, I think this is the hire to make, and consider it an investment in the program.

And you're right, Layla isn't made for the hills of Kentucky. She's made for dinner at Mizner Park and Atlantic Avenue, and offseason weekends in South Beach.

Fun to think about while it lasted. Talks broke down last night.

"Talks hit a stumbling block".  I wonder if it is something that can be overcome.  I guess we will find out soon enough.
