Miednik is absolutely FIRING. They are through 3 1/2 innings at FAU Baseball Stadium and he has retired every batter faced.

12 up 12 down and six strikeouts for the JUCO transfer to pace the Owls, who have a 4-0 lead over the Hawks.

6-5, 220 lb sidewinder Drew Peden comes in for a three pitch out, and then Eric Keating finishes the job.

Stretch time and the Owls are up 5-1.

Very few college pitcher throw complete games. I think the goal is to get through the sixth. The durability is already there. The key is to try and get through the season pain free.
