When I attend the baseball games I noticed a sign on the outfield wall that shows a company that is called Sports-field management. It was curious so I looked them up and saw they construct sports-fields. So that got me thinking do universities offer degrees in area and it turns out they do. Penn State, Ohio State and several others all do. So why don't we offer that type of program here at the university in the future. It would be perfect because students can gain real experience by interning with our top notch grounds keeping staff, and other venues as well such as the ball parks hosting minor league teams, golf courses, parks and etc. You can add the program to the sports management MBA program. I know it be tough with money, but maybe getting corporate sponsors or private donations. What do you think?
