Along side UNCC and UAB, the Owls have no players appearing on the 2017 C-USA Preseason Awards list.

While understanding the courtesy nod to SR RB Ray Lawry of Old Dominion, the guy does not hold a candle to Devin Singletary.

Lawry had 200 more carries last season as the feature back, and still didn't put out the YPC.

Additionally, Azeez Al-shaair would seem a worthy candidate at LB.

Mike White for POTY?

Motor is the real deal. They'll find out soon enough.

Over 1000 yards in just over half a season behind a "questionable" OL. Can't wait to see what Kiffin/Briles do with him!!!

With motor, Buddy (throw in Kerrith Whyte for good measure), I expect 3 rushing TDs a game.

Rick I have to disagree with you regarding Al-Shaair. I think he is one of the most overrated players we have ever had.

Motor  is great. I'm also a huge fan of Kerrith fan. The quality of our backs will not be an issue. As for Al-Shaair, high energy LB. Probably would get honorable mention. Like GA.Owl said, just prove yourself on every play. The numbers at the end of the season is what counts.
