"I care what Coach Kiffin and Coach Briles have to say on Mondays when we come in and watch film."
"I care what my team mates have to say and what they think about me."
What is the team saying?
"That's between us, that's why you're on a team."
"Whether I'm playing third string, fourth string, running back, tight end, safety - we're winning football games. - that's what we came here to do and right now we're doing it."

The game has changed sooo much over the years - but for some reason i wanted to look into Eric Crouch and his stats because I remember him being very run heavy. Pretty wild that he won the Heisman and took his team to a National Championship (2001) with 1,500K yards passing, 7 TD and 10 interceptions. Granted he had over 1K on the ground and 18 rushing touchdowns. Just found that to be interesting.Posted On: Oct 12th 2017, 3:33 PM #371814
Good post! The game really has NOT changed, if ya CAN run the ball, eat clock and score TD's (Navy, Ga. Tech, Baylor in prime years, UGA this year) you are gonna win A LOT of games! Look this past weekend at Tulsa getting DESTROYED by TULANE!!!!!!!

Running (Successful) = Clock Control…..but there is still a need to score fast through the air. I love this team, I love this staff - but I don't know how we would fair 4 points down, on the 25, with 1:28 left on the clock.GeorgiaOwl said

Driskell led us 95 yards vs. UTEP last year, he HAS done it!!!

We need that dimension, and to slow down the run, and we'll be the top of the conference at the end of the season.
Selfishly I'd like to see the passing game open up because I'd really like for McNeal and Wright to be as dominant and fun to watch as Singletary and Howell. I know they have that in them because we've seen streaks of it already.

I understand these responses from Driskel as long as he is actively trying to get better at the passing game because that's what the coaches want.

I agree, but Driskell just hasn't show that ability to really connect on the deep pass yet, nor on the 10-20 pass plays. He has missed badly on those throws, and even on some of the shorter routes too besides staying too long in the pocket waiting for something to open. look if nothing opens up after 5 seconds, he should take off and pick up what he can on the ground. but again i am just a fan, not a coach.
