The top four teams in the East Division go head-tohead this week to highlight a six-game week of action in Conference USA.
Florida Atlantic (3-0, 4-3), winners of three in a row, will travel to WKU (3-1, 5-2), which has won four straight. Florida Atlantic sophomore RB Devin “Motor” Singletary set a new school single-season record for rushing touchdowns with 14 in the Owls seventh game of the year.
FIU (2-1, 4-2) returns from its bye week looking to defeat red-hot Marshall (3-0, 6-1), owners a fi ve-game win streak, for a second straight season.
The West has three division encounters on the docket. Southern Miss (3-1, 5-2), which has moved into a first place tie, hosts UAB (4-3, 2-2).
Louisiana Tech (3-4, 1-2) looks to rebound from last week’s double-OT loss to Southern Miss when it visits Rice (1-6, 1-2).
The developing in-state rivalry between UTSA (4-2, 1-2) and UTEP (0-7, 0-3) is renewed.
The lone cross-division game this week is Old Dominion (0-3, 2-5) meeting West Division co-leader North Texas (3-1, 4-3) for the first time.

A UAB vs. FAU CUSA Championship would be ESPN's dream. The storylines write themselves.
