So guess the gray uniforms are a go. I know kids like having lots of uniforms, so I hope it gets them fired up. I'll have to wear a gray shirt and try and get a "t" when I go in.

I think this is poorly planned promotion. I would tell everyone to wear red or blue and go buy a new shirt at It's Owl's Time. Where can you buy gray stuff? Almost no where, which means most people will where generic gray stuff without FAU logo which means no royalty going to the school The incompetence in the athletic department is mind boggling. they think 10k shirts will sell the place out, it would have been better to have a raffle and give the money away for anyone in attendance. $500 first qtr, $1,500 second, $3,000 for 3rd. This promotion must have cost them at least $50k, typical government mentality!

Actually Most of my FAU T-shirts from years ago were gray, since it is one of our colors, red wasn't even a choice. Mark has plenty of gray shirts on his site, I've seen a few of my friends with a gray and blue collared shirt with FAU over the owl logo. Quit your complaining either buy a shirt or wear what you have, just get to the game!! On the money give away we need to do a 50-50 like they do at the Panthers game. Get a Casino to sponsor and they have hand held machines that print out your tickets, they come to you don't have to leave your seats. We can have the running total on our scoreboard and announce winner into the 4th to keep fans in the stands.

Thanks for the words.
I will not comment too much publicly, but will deal with this internally. I will say that I do not believe 10 extra people will go to the stadium because they are getting a free t-shirt. That's a big investment for no return.
That's the end of my public thoughts. Thank you. Go Owls!
I urge you NOT to wear gray and go buy something new that is BLUE or RED from It's Owl's Time.
