As we all know, being in (or at least close) to start is a HUGE advantage.  An early season loss to a team like Oklahoma but playing well means a short fall (or maybe no fall at all) for a team in the top 30 or so.  That same early season loss to a team ranked below #50 means it will be a long time before you can seriously move up even into the top-50.  Is it football season yet!?!?!?!?!?!

Quiet on the recruiting front. No Owldad it isn't Football season. But, I got a notice on Facebook that there is thirty more days till the first pitch of my favorite….Baseball !! Go Owls. Go Coach Mac. All arrows point to a good team. But we are in a very tough conference. ( I know we will better than Basketball).
