Originally committed to Colorado State last summer, but flipped to the Owls while announcing his pledge via twitter on January 19th.

Also holds reported offers from Illinois and Pitt, as well as C-USA programs MTSU and FIU.

Transferred from Royal Palm Beach High to Palm Beach Lakes in order to expand his recruiting exposure and has seen time at quarterback and in the secondary.

Member of the Palm Beach Fire 7-on-7 Team, and was named Honorable Mention Palm Beach 8A-6A football Second Team.

Young said he felt comfortable at FAU having known most of the players, and that he believes in the program.
