In his first home start, Florida Atlantic redshirt freshman QB Chris Robison set a new school record with 471 yards passing, along with three touchdown throws, to earn the C-USA Offensive Player of the Week award.

The Defensive Player of the Week honor went to Florida Atlantic junior LB Rashad Smith, who had a career-high 16 tackles and a game-sealing interception in the final minute of a win over Air Force.

The Special Teams Player of the Week award was given to Charlotte freshman K Jonathan Cruz, who booted three field goals of 46 yards or longer, including a 54-yarder.
