GAME THREAD: Rice @ FAU - February 16, 2019
Looks like we may see our first lopsided final score in this series history. *knocks on wood*

Rice has found their footing, using a 5-0 run to cut into the FAU lead. Still, the Owls from Boca have made four of their last 5 FGs.

Owls have gone ICE COLD, failing to score in over three minutes. Meanwhile, Rice has converted four of their last five to go on a 10-0 run.

Nice passing set up this Lepichev layup, killing the 4+ minute #FAU FG drought. pic.twitter.com/y6cZvzKTjm

The Boca Owls got hot at the right time! Back-to-back-to-back three pointers caps off a 15-0 run for FAU and forces Rice to take a timeout.
What a day for Dusty May and the boys! We are going into Bonus Play with a 7-7 conference record.
Not listed below is a double digit scoring day for Silins, his second in as many days. Team Manager Will Rutherford saw some action in the final minute of the game. Unfortunately, the only saw the ball to inbound. Would've loved to see him on the score sheet.

What a dominating performance from FAU, who improve to 16-11 (7-7). That's right, the Owls will go into #CUSA Bonus Play with a .500 conference record.

Teams will be placed in one of three groups based on conference standings through the first 14 games of league action and will be guaranteed seeding within that group. The teams will be divided into two groups of five (1-5 and 6-10) and a group of four (11-14). During the final three weeks, teams will play within their respective grouping for the last four games of conference play. Home and away games within the groups will be determined by a preset formula.
No wonder why #FAU Hoops put on such a show! one of the PxP broadcasters in the game was in the house with @FrankJForte.
