The FAU football team could be adding some much-needed depth at wide receiver for the 2019 season in that of USF grad transfer Deangelo Antoine.
The Orlando native switched back and forth from offense to defense during his time at USF, but was still able to compile 24 catches and 287 yards in 21 games at wideout.
In a mass move by Bull's coach Charlie Strong near the end of the 2018 season, Antoine was dismissed from the team along with 10 other teammates and four assistants for what was labeled a "violation of team rules".
From what we are hearing, the Owls will try and get Antoine enrolled in the coming weeks, and have him ready for fall camp.
If successful, Antoine will bring much-needed experience to a Florida Atlantic receiving core who only brings back two players who had more than 20 catches in 2018 - Willie Wright 41 and Tavaris Harrison 21.
