After a week of crisscrossing the south looking for players to fill out FAU football's 2020 class, the new coaching staff will return to Boca to host its second official visitors weekend since the dead period ended on January 17th.

Here are the players that FAUOwlsnest has confirmed will be in Boca this weekend:

Malik Jones 6-2'' 295 lbs defensive linemen Zepherhills Christain - Malik who has been committed since August 16th will take his first official this weekend.

Jaden Wheeler 6-3'' 260lbs defensive linemen Berrin highschool - Wheeler will make his first trip to Boca Raton after committing last week.

Trevor Reaves 6-2'' 175 lbs defensive back Miami Eddison - FAU is looking to add some much-needed length to it's secondary, and Reaves 6-2'' frame could just be what the doctor ordered. The Owls have a good connection with Miami Eddison high school where ''Uncle Luke'' is currently the head football coach. FAU was able to land Miami Eddison defensive linemen Trevon Thomas as part of its 2019 class. Reeves also holds offers from Tennessee State and FIU. UPDATE 1-26 @ 10:48 AM Reaves announces his commitment.

Alex Atcavage 6-5'' 285 lbs offensive tackle IMG Acadamy - The one-time FSU commit quickly picked up an offer from the Owls once head Football coach Willie Taggart arrived in Boca Raton. Both of FAU's current tackle commits - Eli Feilds and Sebation Dolcine - come from the Juco ranks. Atcavage (photo right above) would be the first projected tackle from the high school in the 2020 class if he commits. The Owls will have have to hold off Old Dominion and Indiana for his services.

Za'tarious Anderson 6-3'' 210 lbs wide receiver Manroe high school - Anderson could add some much-needed size to FAU's receiving core. The Albany, Georgia product holds offers to Savannah State and Stetson.

Jahad Carter 6-0'' 180 lbs defensive back Jireh Prep school - Carter was a 2019 Virginia Tech signee, but was unable to qualify academically and enrolled at prep school in North Carolina. He is now academically eligible and has a host of schools after him which include Texas Tech, Illinois, and Syracuse. Carter can play wide receiver but is likely to play cornerback at the next level.

Kaleb Long 6-5'' 188 lbs wide receiver Chamberlain high school - The highly rated three-star receiver had held multiple power 5 offers, but his relationship with FAU recruiting coordinator could be what makes the difference here.

Ja'Marquis Johnson 6-3'' 204 lbs wide receiver Berrien high school- Like Kaleb Long, Johnson was recruited by Willie Taggart and Raymond Woodie at FSU. Johnson has held offers to the likes of FSU, Georiga Tech, and Kentucky. He is also teammates with current FAU commit Jaden Wheeler.

T.J. Chase 6-1'' 185 lbs wide receiver Clemson University- Chase, entered the transfer portal on January 20th and is expected to graduate in May, thus making him eligible to play immediately. Chase had 25 catches, 204 yards, and three touchdowns in 41 career games at Clemson, playing behind behind two of the nation's best receivers "Tee'' Higgins and Justyn Ross. He is originally a Plant City, Florida native and attended Plant City high school where he was a four-star recruit.

This list will be updated with some big names throughout the weekend as we can release them, so keep locked in with FAUOwlsnest.com

Some players can not be confirmed until they show up on campus.

This goes on at every school in the country because there is some strategy with it.

Lane Kiffin, for example, was very very secretive with some players who visited.

Just curious what are the common reasons for being secretive about who is visiting? Generally the recruits aren’t very modest on social media  about being wined and dined.

Some are though.

It is a balance between creating "buzz'' and not letting the competition know who is on your campus.

Every player and situation is different.

Lets  stop pushing for info. It is obvious there are reasons to keep things close to the vest.  Shane is doing a great job informing us with what is available. Lets let the rest just happen. We will hear when it is time.
