Even though this is going to make me look flibbertigibbet, I am going to confess…

I got an e-mail today at 8:55 a.m. from American Airlines telling me I can check in for my flight tomorrow. So, knowing that the e-mail is sent automatically 24 hours before takeoff, I was waking up at 6 a.m. and heading to the airport.

In the words of Lee Corso: "NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND"

My flights at 7:30 a.m.

Thank goodness I checked. 5 a.m. alarm clock it is.

Travel tip: Everyone check to ensure their flight time hasn't changed and/or you had a memory laps like I did.
