Florida Atlantic (3-8, 2-5) scored just 18 seconds into the game, but it was a touchdown with 19 seconds remaining that gave the Blue Raiders (6-5, 5-2) a 35-34 victory in Murfreesboro.

The Owls posted 540 yards of total offense, which is 175 more than their season average.

QB Jaquez Johnson completed 64% of his attempts (21-of-33) for 304 yards and 2TD, while rushing for an additional 53 yards and a score.

Not sure how many POW played against FAU the week they won it, but the number is simply too many:

After rushing for 190 yards, producing 321 all-purpose yards and scoring three touchdowns, Middle Tennessee junior RB Reggie Whatley has been named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.

Marshall senior LB Neville Hewitt picks up the Defensive honor after recording 17 tackles and two tackles for loss in the Thundering Herd's 23-18 road victory over UAB.

The Special Teams Player of the Week award was given to FIU junior PR Richard Leonard, honored after returning a punt 74 yards for a touchdown at North Texas.

C-USA Football Players of the Week are voted on by a panel of the league's media.
