Yes, but funny too, especially since BRILES was at the game! And not near as low as all the rape at Baylor that Briles protected the players and not the injured!

After becoming just the second player in Middle Tennessee history to rush for more than 100 yards and catch passes for more than 100 yards in the same game and scoring four touchdowns, Blue Raiders senior RB I’Tavius Mathers has been named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.

The Defensive Player of the Week honor went to Middle Tennessee senior DT Shaquille Huff, who had eight tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in the win at Bowling Green.

The Special Teams Player of the Week award went to WKU junior Nacarius Fant, who had a 48-yard punt return for a touchdown in the Hilltoppers victory at Miami (Ohio).

C-USA Football Players of the Week are voted on by a panel of the league’s media.

Only two CUSA teams to win so there CUSA - BAD week for the conference, worst toss up of FAU 7 - KSU 63, UTEP 14 - ARMY 66!!!!!!!!!!!! or S. Miss 31 - Troy 37, OR Charlotte 19 EASTERN MICHIGAN 37 OR FIU 13 - UMASS  21 OR Marshall 38 - AKRON 63.

Oh and ODU gave up 40 to NC ST. , La Tech gave up 59 to Texas Tech , North Texas gave up 32 to UF!!!!!!

Even WKU won only by 7 to UM, ooops not that UM, Miami (OHIO)!

Only MTSU did well beating Bowling Green by 20! Congrats to them at least! Oh  UTSA did ALMOST beat Arizona St. but gave it up in the 4th with real LAME  super conservative O in the 4th. Play not to lose and you lose! Like the prevent D, prevents ya from winning!

All this means is the Conference AND Bowl slot is there for the taking, the Conference is NOT GOOD this year obviously.

But WE have to PLAY BALL and STOP MAKING EXCUSES. We HAVE TO WANT IT MORE THAN THEM AND PLAY THAT WAY!

GO OWLS!
