UTSA 21 North Texas 13
Had the Roadrunners not missed all of their FG tries (0-3), this one could have been more lopsided.
But a win is a win, especially when upsetting a team favored to win by 9.5 points.
Eric Soza was 30-of-49 for 274 yards, but his legs turned in the most production with a pair of scores for USTA.

UTEP 3 Tulane 45
Green Wave QB Nick Montana had struggled with accuracy coming into Saturday's tilt against the Miners, but found his rhythm (12-of-19) for three scores, and no interceptions, in a blow out affair.
At 7-4 overall, Tulane now has the most wins under foot in the last 11 years.

Marshall 48 FIU 10
With a 3-0 lead at the conclusion of the first quarter, the Panthers had upsets on their minds.
However the Herd quickly squelched those hopes with a 34-0 scoring run leaving FIU (1-10) gasping for breath.
Florida International was content to devote 75% of their attack to the ground game, and fell flat, while attempting 45 carries for a net of just 95 yards.
The Herd was balanced in their approach, but saw the passing game produce most of the scores with QB Rakeem Cato notching four passes for TD's.

Tulsa 24 Louisiana Tech 14
It's been a disappointing year for the Golden Hurricane, however a solid performance from RB Trey Watts (178 yards, 3TD's) gave the squad some joy on Saturday against the Bulldogs.
Tech pulled within three points late in the third quarter, but Watt's five yard scamper into the end zone at the 10 minute mark of the final period would result in the contest's last points.
Secondary play was indeed stellar for both units, accounting for a total of seven interceptions on the day.
Tulsa won that micro-battle 4-3 as well.

The Defensive award went to Tulsa senior LB Shawn Jackson, who totaled 10 tackles, three sacks and an interception in a victory at Louisiana Tech.
The Special Teams Player of the Week award was given to Tulane senior K Cairo Santos, who had nine points and six touchbacks in the Green Wave victory over UTEP. C-USA Football Players of the Week are voted on by a panel of the league's media.
