No, your eyes do not deceive you. The nations longest losing streak comes to an end as the Golden Eagles explode for 49 second half points.
QB Nick Mullens will likely get the nod for C-USA offensive player of the week after going 24-of-39 for 370 yards with five passing TD's and another by foot.

Tulane 13 Rice 17
The Owls (9-3, 7-1) go scoreless in the second, and withstand a Green Wave (7-5, 5-3) rally attempt to take the West division title. This sets up a championship game against Marshall for next weekend.
Rice posted a 21-7 advantage in first downs and dominated time of possession by absorbing just under 40 minutes of play clock.
Tulane netted just 123 total yards for the day.

Good for them…our 1-11 season was unbearable…can't imagine how horrible that losing streak was to deal with. I could imagine everyone must have been going crazy with whoever their OC40 is!

Louisiana Tech 10 UTSA 30
Completing a super efficient 17 of his 20 pass attempts, SR Roadrunner QB Eric Soza goes out in style.
UTSA (7-5, 6-2) will return most of their starters in 2014, and look poised to make a run should they find a capable replacement for Soza.
The Bulldogs (4-8, 3-5) were a concerning 2-of-17 on third downs, and couldn't find the scoreboard after the break.

UTEP 17 Middle Tennessee 48
The Blue Raiders (8-4, 6-2) racked up 629 yards of total offense on Saturday, which was just 56 yards shy of the program record. Logan Kilgore threw for 325 of them, and had 2 TD.
RB Nathan Jeffrey posted a game high 140 rushing yards and 2TD for the Miners.
MTSU led 24-0 before Jefferey's first score put UTEP (2-10, 1-7) on the board.
