UTSA has a new qb and the O, even in the big win at Houston, did not do a lot (except score - which is the bottom line though). They will definately be a challange, at last we get em at home!

UTSA is 4 real, they have a great coach in Larry Coker. Yeah, he had great players from the year before when he won in Miami. But a system is a system and he is proving it at UTSA. Also they have the CITY BEHIND THEM FOR SUPPORT check out this article; 40000 fans!! Thankfully we get 'em in Boca. We can't even hold that many. San Antonio is a bigger city but Boca has deeper pockets.

My friend Jack knows what he's talking about regardless of how many starters they have returning. I would love to play in front of 40,000 fans if I was a 3 star or 4 star recruit in Texas.

P.s. Jack I'll see you at the tailgate on the 13th, I'll be the guy in the Morris Jersey with blue paint on the sleeve. Probably wheeling a cooler around.

I'm just happy to see the conference is 5-0 against other G5 conference programs. Dominating wins against Houston and Bowling Green were HUGE for the future of CUSA.

But heck, I'm just happy to be in a conference of like-minded institutions. UTEP, UTSA, UNT, ODU, MTSU, UAB, WKU, Charlotte, and yes even FIU are all very similar to FAU in almost every asset. Throw in a FANTASTIC academic institution such as Rice and smaller universities with solid followings and great athletic history like Marshall, LaTech and Southern Miss, and we have quite the conference to be proud of!

Oops. Thanks for the correction! Either way, it's quite impressive.

FINAL:

WKU 34  Illinois 42

It looked as if the Hilltoppers might be setting themselves up for an upset as the third quarter came to a close.

But the Illini had a big final period, scoring three TD to just one for WKU.

QB Brandon Doughty was 28-of-48 for 297 yards, and 2TD.
