Replacement QB Blake Bell (27-of-37) rang up the Golden Hurricane for 413 yards and four TD's in his first start for the Sooners.

The Hokies limited ECU's hot passing attack to just 158 yards - under half their average heading into the contest.

Neither squad moved the ball by foot, combining for just 99 collective yards on the afternoon.

Akron almost took it against Michigan. Akron went 1-11 two years ago too now look at them. I said hire Terry Bowden someone find the posts.

South Miss 3  Arkansas 24

Looked as if this one might be a close contest early on. But the Eagles just couldn't find continuity on offense. And when they did, penalties were a problem.

They did however likely bring themselves out of last place in the FBS in rushing with 119 yards.
