Awesome.  Let's keep him healthy.  I wonder if he's our ace…

Re: 2008 roster is up...

Has to be the ace, if he still has his stuff, which I assume he does.

It appears we've lost Ryan Cheatham and Billy Degnan.

Cheatham apparently had shoulder surgery and missed all of summer ball, but wouldn't he still be on the roster? Weird.

Medical red-shirt? Maybe he took the year off to keep his eligibility?

Re: 2008 roster is up...

man oh man… Daniel Bomback will be missed (especially considering he is hitting around .170 consistently in single-a ball)

good to see Storey back, though we knew that was given

interesting on Brett Cannon… notice his date of birth… he is a "veteran" if you will, plagued by injury and going DOWN to junior college and worked his way back up… he has had a rough ride his college career and i think he could be a good presence for us this season

GO OWLS!!!!

BASEBALL SEASON!!!!!!!!

Re: 2008 roster is up...

I heard some interesting personality issues with Bomback last year, not sure how true they are but I think everyone expected him to be one and done.  He kind of fell apart late season anyway.

Bomback hit .255 in 43 games in rookie ball last season, not .170 in Single-A. You were close  ;) He also has 19 walks and only 13 Ks, which is pretty solid.
