Kevin Abraham: A 6-foot-2 catcher from Miramar…hit .460 as a junior at Mater Academy for Coach Edward Gorriz…was a Perfect Game National Participant.
Kellen Brown: A 5-foot-10 infielder from Dunedin…Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American after hitting .429 with 21 runs batted in at Dunedin High School for Coach Tom Hilbert…Class 5A-12 Player of the Year…first-team All-State by Florida Athletic Coaches Association.
C.J. Chatham: A 6-foot-3 player from Fort Lauderdale…played shortstop, third base, outfield and pitched at American Heritage-Plantation for Coach Bruce Avens…school has produced current Owls Domenic Mancini and Esteban Puerta…won the 2012 Nova batting title and was named the District Player of the Year…first-team all-county and Titan Classic’s Most Valuable Player…hit .443 with 25 RBIs and 27 runs scored…legged out 11 doubles and hit five home runs during junior season…teammate of signee Stephen Kerr on the South Florida Elite team that won the Perfect Game Summer National Championship.
Stephen Kerr: A 5-foot-9 middle infielder from Margate…hit .373 with 21 stolen bases and 12 doubles…legged out three triples as a junior at Coral Springs Charter for Coach Mike Higgins…named to the Louisville Slugger Prime 9 all-tournament team in Jupiter…earned second-team all-county honors last season…teammate of signee C.J. Chatham on the South Florida Elite team that won the Perfect Game Summer National Championship.
David McKay: A 6-foot-3 pitcher from Melbourne…participated in the prestigious Diamond Club Showcase and Perfect Game National…second-team All-Space Coast selection after posting six victories and 67 strikeouts as a junior at Viera High School for Coach Bob Doty…high-school teammate of signee Reid Neal.
Sean Labsan: A 5-foot-10 pitcher/outfielder from Sarasota…had a 5-2 record with a 1.69 earned run average at Riverview High School for Coach Chuck Antezak…struck out 62 batters in 62 innings…had a .306 batting average, had a .405 on-base percentage and drove in 17 runs.
Reid Neal: A 5-foot-10 infielder from Melbourne…batted .395 with 22 RBIs and 25 runs scored as a junior at Viera High School for Coach Bob Doty…Class 7A District 12 Player of the Year by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association…Perfect Game Underclassmen Honorable Mention honoree…high-school teammate of signee David McKay.
Cody Mizelle: A six-foot pitcher from Winter Haven…went 4-0 at Daytona State College as a freshman in 2012 for Coach Tim Touma…Great Lakes Summer League All-Star in 2012.
Reily Monkman: A six-foot pitcher from Mount Dora…led Seminole State College with seven saves for Coach Chris Hayes…recorded 25 strikeouts in 27 innings during freshman season…led team to the 2012 Florida League championship…four-year letterwinner at Mount Dora High School, where he went 4-0 with nine saves in leading school to its first state final appearance as a senior.
John Sebelle: A 6-foot-1 pitcher from Winter Springs…recorded nine saves and tallied three victories as a freshman at Daytona State College for Coach Tim Touma…had 47 strikeouts in 41.1 innings…Mid-Florida Conference Fireman of the Year as league’s top relief pitcher.
Jarred Smith: A six-foot infielder from Lake Wales…played third base at Auburn in 2012 and will play at State College of Florida for Coach Tim Hill II in 2013…Freshman All-Academic team selection in 2011…junior college has produced current Owls Jeremy Strawn and Tyler Rocklein.
